Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Bannu organizes the annual and supply exams of matric and intermediate level exams in Bannu District and other nearby districts and tribal areas. Bannu Board was established to promote the quality of matric and inter level education in these areas and the board is doing that very well. BISE Bannu conducts the SSC annual exams and HSSC annual exams every year according to a regular schedule.

9th class annual exams and 10th class annual exams are conducted by the board during the months of March and April while Bannu Board conducts the 11th class annual exams and 12th class annual exams in the months of May and June every year. These annual exams are attended by thousands of regular and private students of the affiliated districts every year. For both these classes, Bannu Board announces the date sheet few months before the start of the exams.
